By purposely delaying the kill on the second to last Zant head, and getting the early platform cycle at the latest possible moment, it's barely possible to kill the final Zant head one cycle earlier than normal. This is an example of getting it with the worst rng where it spawns on the sides. It's slightly easier to get it when it spawns in the middle.
To time the Zant head kill right before you need to get to the platform, I started a timer as the door shuts behind Link entering the room, and aim to kill the Zant head just before it reaches 55 seconds. You then have to basically whip aim to the clawshot target and jumplash onto the platform instantly, but it makes timing the kill very convenient.

This trick is quite hard to do with the pointer aim, and its faster by so much that turning it off for the trick and then on again would still be faster than doing the fight normally.
I found it very difficult. After the setup to get in position I would always be aiming a little too far to the right, and need to adjust. I also very frequently got voided out in the gate when doing it this way, which has only happened to me once using pointer aiming, as well as having a fake target appear.

I seemed to void when aiming further right on the target, and itd be fine when aiming near the centre or to the left.

Dashing at a precise spot here causes a quick climb. Not really worth it to try for since its really easy to just not grab the ledge, or grab and get pushed off it. Only useful in the Wii version due to needing it to make it up after Helmasaur LJA.

Consistent setup with Master Sword and no EBF

See ZSR for more info: https://www.zeldaspeedruns.com/tp/boss/dangoro
- With Master Sword, jump attack 3 times from the spawn position. The third jump attack will hit Dangoro.
- Backflip 3 times and put on the Iron boots during the 3rd backflip.
- Keep holding L, and wait for Dangoro to hit Links shield. After Dangoro nudges Links shield twice, press and hold A to grab and throw him.
If successful, Link will grab the ledge after throwing Dangoro, and Dangoro will bounce in the lava enough to complete two cycles instead of just one. If Dangoro is grabbed too early, then this will act as one normal cycle; if Dangoro is grabbed too late, then Link will fall and grab the ledge without throwing Dangoro into the lava.
While he bounces after the second cycle hits start, hitting him in midair with a spin attack will interrupt him for a quick third hit.
