Level 8 is your gimmick stage, plain, pure and simple. Fitting, considering this is the set right up before we get to see some final bosses (so fitting that Tobiko even called it out). As such, the biggest thing to keep in mind really is just learning the best way to tackle these spells. By themselves there's not much difficulty, rather it's whatever additional trick the boss adds on that's the real kicker.
