The trusty old Toshiba C660 laptop suddenly decided to fail on the display back light. So we took it apart and investigated what's wrong with it.
This (2-part) video shows the process how we analyzed the root cause of the issue including dismantling and the final fix.
The principle applies to most laptops and therefore particular specific to this model. As long as you figure out the finer details (screw locations, etc) they all look pretty much the same.
Hope this is of help for someone.
It's already back together and working, part 2 comes as soon this one picks up some views, with not even 100 views i can't justify spending the time for editing another episode.
