Just came back into the house after a day in the workshop and noticed that the hot water was actually cold water,.... checked the boiler and the oil burner was on fault, just what i needed ...:-)
I had the service on the to-do list for quite a while, so i thought it's just the usual get-the-dirt-out thing, ... well, at first sight it looked like that, but it turned out to take a bit longer to achieve a permanent fix. It was pretty much the very last point of my probability ranking and i almost forgot about it because i am not active in the heating trade anymore and therefore a bit out of practice.
I also try to explain a few principles around oil burners, but you might notice that i was mainly focusing on getting the job done rather than the camera work. Sorry, it was pretty late in the day.
At the end of this part it worked, but only for about 5 to 10 minutes, after resetting the fault it did the same again,....strange, but in this part we'll show the simple reason for all that trouble.
So after all that, the cold hot water is now hot hot water again ...
