As Torrington residents waited for their power to be restored this week after the devastating Fourth of July thunderstorms, neighborhood eatery Vinny’s Restaurant & Pizza kept them fed with free, hot meals.
“It’s a great feeling because some people really do need it,” said Arti Seferi, co-owner of Vinny’s, “and I can see it in their eyes when I give them the food how appreciative they are.”
