A psychologist working with Lindsay Clancy testified Wednesday that he believed she had a “mental disease or defect” when her three children were killed in January 2023.

Paul Zeizel, who has seen Clancy more than 60 times since the killings, said his review of her medical records led him to conclude that she had bipolar disorder with postpartum psychosis and was unable to conform her behavior to the law or appreciate the wrongfulness of her actions.
