Fairly straight forward to navigate around.
I would leave the dongle connected to the extension lead permanently to minimise wear. And just replace the extension lead when it is worn out.

I think it is very interesting that the door unlock signal is missing considering our problem a few weeks ago.
I will check our Honda CRV to see if it is the same.
