Here's a nice variation of the song, TOO MUCH OF YOU. I tried to play some interesting things different from the first take. I hope you like it.
I've lost about 35 lbs of weight over the past 3 months since December of 2010. You may notice my face is narrower from earlier videos. I went from 207 down to 172. My goal is 155-160 lbs by the end of 2011. I've been eating a lot of apples and oatmeal, and fasting every few days, eating just the bare minimum and my vitamins.
I play strings 1 and 4 together at fret 14, 16 and 17 to get that nice unison string sound, pressing the C pedal. This is before the chord modulation from the key of F# to G.
I modulate by going from fret 14 strings 4,5 and 6 (no pedals or kness) up to fret 15 on the same strings (pedals B down and 4th string lowered a half). Then I play the song again on fret 3. I love the B and C pedals together. A lot of steel players don't use these pedals enough.
In this song I pump pedal C while B is held down, and my 2nd string is lowered a whole tone (picking strings 2,3 and 4). First on fret 3, and then on fret 1. Then let off the pedals and knee and pick strings 4,5 and 6 on fret 1. It's a great sound.
