This is a short notice video, but I still wanted to talk about this game before going away for the weekend. Tokyo Xtreme Racer is a pretty unique franchise and is very focused around the jdm centric expressway racing scene that was prominent in the 90s and early 2000s. This is the first entry in the Xtreme Racer lineup and is a pretty solid title. But if you've already played Zero or 3, then it's not really worth playing unless it's for the sake of curiosity. It can still be a good time, and it looks great for a console game released in 1999.

Notes:

- The game also had a versus mode, for friends and siblings.

- I didn't use a lot of cars because I didn't need them once I had the Supra and eventually the Skyline.

- The game in the beginning of World Racing 2 Champion Edition
