Talk about simple and addicting at the same time. On the surface it doesn't look like much, but the depth in character choices and build variety is realized once it hooks you in. I didn't play it around the time of it's hype, yet I still had it in the library. Has some great music, the way it's visual feedback is applied makes you wanna see how much more powerful you can get, all in the span of 30 minutes. It's success had created a surge of "survivor-likes" that take inspiration from the game, all the while adding their own spins. For the asking price of Vampire Survivors, it's worth every penny, doesn't ask for much, even during it's hype. It's a fantastic game.
