Some that slither, some that crawl, some with wings and others that defy logic. Local wildlife filming can be a blast.
You don't need to jet off to the plains of Africa to encounter wildlife. All you need to do is step out of your backdoor at night and take a look around your local green space. Over two nights this week I spent a couple of hours each night looking for local wildlife to bring you this short film.
I'd realized that a lot of, make that most of, my content on this channel deals with landscape photography and camera settings. With my background in wildlife filming I'm looking to get back into that and in doing so introducing you to the diverse and in many cases endemic species of Okinawa and the Ryukyu Islands.
