This is my third match as a participant in the sixth Toasty Tour MGTT Tournament! This is a Netplay tournament taking place from 11/16-12/3/23 with 44 players from across the MGTT and MSSB communities.
Remkey is among the very top of the golfers within the baseball communities, and we have played several times before. It's never a dull moment with a player as confident and creative as he is. In our previous match at Lakitu Valley, we both used Bowsers and I had several lucky chips-in to win in 15 holes, but this is different. The rules in this tournament are coin-flip for position and no duplicate characters, and remkey won the toss. He took Bowser at the first opportunity and I joked that he "chose poorly". He really didn't - but people don't take Petey seriously. I think now they should.
This was probably the finest match of the tournament up to this point. People were expecting fireworks - and they got it! Only one par mistake for each of us, and one exploited opportunity for each to keep the game incredibly tight. I can say no more.
I did not have a good video recording, but we did have a commentator and they agreed to let me upload this broadcast, and this game is all the better for it. Thank you @Akirry (creator of Akirry Roll, a free Monkey Ball-like)!
