My new table saw will have an advanced blade stopping feature as well, it's known as a "power switch".
Seriously though, just spitballing on the table saw build. I may never do it, but never say never!
The drill press is a definite happening and I'll be starting that shortly. I may make that into a series of update video to post here on this channel to show the progress as I get more of it done.
The jointer idea is one I've had for a while and I'm pretty sure I'll do it. If I do, I'll use the grey plastic I used on the table saw as the table surfaces. It's very flat and low friction, so it would be just about perfect for that. I'd also make the feed tables longer, so that the jointer could handle longer stock.
