Supplies:
Tim Holtz Distress:
-Crayons: Aged Mahogany, Festive Berries, Peeled Paint, Crushed Olive, Fossilised Amber, Vintage Photo, Walnut
–Spray Stain: Gathered Twigs
-Oxide Ink: Pad Speckled Egg, Gathered Twigs
-Dye Ink Pad: Vintage Photo, Black Soot
-Paint: Speckled Egg, Iced Spruce, Lost Shadow
-Sprayer
-Mixed Media Heavystock #8 Tags
-Collage Medium Matte
-Foundry Wax Statue

Other Tim Holtz:
-Cling Mount Stamp: Embroiderey
-Layering Stencil Flourish
-Sizzix 3-D Texture Large Embossing Folder Typewriter

Instructions:
-Choose three light shades of Distress Paint + apply them to background using a dry brush.
-Gently dry the surface, leaving it slightly workable
-Use a baby wipe to blend the colors together. Dry completely
-Using a Distress Oxide Ink pad in a similar color palette, apply ink through a stencil
-Dry thoroughly
-Stamp the image onto your background using a brown Distress Ink
-Lightly spritz a bit of water over the stamped image to activate ink + create a blended effect
-Stamp the same image again onto a separate piece of paper
-Color this second image with Distress Crayons, blending with a baby wipe
-Carefully cut out the flowers + leaves
-Return to your tag and add extra detail to the background by applying Distress Crayons through a stencil
-Adhere the cut-out flowers and leaves to your tag as desired
-Deepen the edges of the tag using both Distress Crayons + Distress Ink in the same shade
-Add a few random stamped details using brown Distress Oxide Ink
-Cut the word “spring” using an embossing folder, then color the letters with Distress Crayons
-Add highlights with Statue Foundry Wax, set it with a heat tool, then lightly darken the edges with black
-Finish your tag by adhering the word, adding a few white splatters for brightness + tying on a ribbon
