Some great advice from @creativelyclinical: What if slowing down was the best gift you gave yourself this season? With December here, I keep realizing how much I need the reminder to slow down in a season that wants me to hurry so I made myself a little reminder to slow down tucked right into my junk journal 🌲✨
This year ASAP means as slow as possible, as soft as possible, and as sincerely as possible.

Supplies used:
-Ranger Liquid Pearls:White Opal
-Dylusions Creative Journal
-Tim Holtz Idea-ology: Paper Strips, File Cards 2
-Posca paint pens
Other:
-Scissors
-Glue or tape roller
-Background paper
-Collected junk
-Sticky gems
Instructions:
-Use four pages of your journal for this spread.
-Trace a tree on the two middle pages.
-Layer and glue Idea-ology paper strips from the bottom up, then cut out the tree shape.
-Glue junk or collage elements on the outer pages for the background.
-Decorate the underside of the tree so every side is covered.
-Write a message or reminder on an Idea-ology file card and tuck it under the tree.
-Finish by adding collages, outlines, borders, or any extra flourishes you like!
