A quick conversion of a Hubsan X4 quadcopter, to look a bit like a Star Wars Tie Fighter.
Materials were cereal packet cardboard, a printout of a Tie Fighter side panel (scaled up a bit), couple of metal rods, Q-tips and glue.
One great feature, is that the quad is far safer in light winds with a mostly unskilled pilot at the controls *cough*
Zero damage to the props with any crash and it also assists in orientation, knowing which way around it is in the air.
