The TIE Echelon was not a starfighter, but an assault shuttle used by the First Order. It appeared to serve a similar function as the Imperial TIE Reaper, providing transportation of personnel as well as starfighter support. It could carry up to three passengers and was armed with four heavy laser cannons and one turret. A TIE Echelon was most famously seen on Batuu while Kylo Ren and the First Order searched for a rumored hidden Resistance base on the planet. #starwars #tiefighter
