Nanta was a unique Ewok who did not enjoy hunting or farming or any of the usual skills required to survive on the forest moon of Endor. Instead the shaman Logray suggested his creative mind would be better suited for the role of Storykeeper for the tribe. From that day forward Nanta recorded the great deeds, songs, and legends of Bright Tree Village. Some stories were historical, and some were mythological, but all were meant to help the tribe remember how they came to be and who they were. When the Empire invaded their home, Nanta fought back, joining the Rebel Alliance in their attack on the shield generator. He was killed during the battle, and Romba, the one Ewok who had witnessed Nanta’s death, recorded the Ballad of Nanta in the records of Bright Tree Village. #starwars
