What happened to L3-37 after she was installed into the Millennium Falcon? She became a part of the ship, able to access cams and audio sensors in every room. She understandably resisted being stuck inside a ship’s computer, but the Falcon itself convinced her to help save Lando and the others. Their two brains joined together to become something new. Several of L3’s sound effects before she became part of the ship were taken from the original sound design for the Falcon in the original trilogy, and Threepio’s comments about the ship’s unusual dialect is also a reference to her influence. Lando and Han have interacted with her in several later stories in the Star Wars comics, books like Last Shot, and the novelization for The Rise of Skywalker. #starwars
