Where was the Death Star constructed? The superweapon began construction in orbit above the planet Geonosis. It remained there until about a decade after the rise of the Empire when it was moved to Scarif. Imperials then killed nearly every Geonosian on the planet with massive canisters of insecticide. The crew of the Ghost would witness some of the remains of the massive construction project there years later, but couldn’t uncover the truth of the superweapon. #starwars #deathstar
