Season 13's sixth challenge is upon us! This time it was the choice of Antaeus and he's gone for Growl....
In Taito's 1990 arcade beat 'em up Growl (known as Runark in Japan), four rugged forest rangers embark on an over-the-top mission across early-20th-century Africa to stop a ruthless syndicate of poachers driving local wildlife to extinction....
This is a 4 player co-op game and you can tell! I've never seen so many enemies in a scrolling beat 'em up! I liked the weapons in this even though the only one that really matters is the whip, it's tough too! That 1st boss was a right pain, anyway here's my run on Growl....
