We're back! OK kicking off Season 13 will be NovaBug, he's back after having a break last season and he's chosen R-Type Leo released in arcades by Irem in 1992.
Compared to earlier installments, some changes have been made regarding the weapon systems. The Force and the Wave Cannon are removed, instead, Bit Devices are introduced, their firing direction depends on the movement of the ship itself. They can also be detached for direct collision damage to enemies. The game is set over six stages, R-Type Leo is also the first game in the series with two players co-op. I love the R-Type series and enjoyed this challenge, well until I got to the stage 3 boss which defeated me each time I made it, anyway here's my run....
