Did you know that the scene in Andor episode 10 where Cassain picks up a metal pole and jams the lift is way more important than you think? Now we all know that the pole was very important in jamming the lift and allowing the prisoners to escape. But Cassian using the metal pole was hugely symbolic of Cassian’s character growth from someone who is only interested in self preservation to someone who is willing to stand up against the Empire. Because the last time he picked up a metal pole in defiance was when he was a child reacting to the Empire hanging his father. Causing him to end up in prison as a youth which became one of the reasons why he decided that staying under the radar was better. Making this a complete circle with Cassian returning to pick up the fight against the empire, but this time breaking out of the prison physically and within himself.
