Created by the team behind C as in Charlie, Kisa blends a no-frills aesthetic with subtle retro charm. Inside, youâll find vintage televisions, red tile touches, wall-mounted fans, and a pendulum clock ticking awayâŠpretty much a welcoming space that hums with lived-in familiarity. Near the door, a retro vending machine offers black bean lattes, coffee, and hot cocoa. Simply insert the quarter that comes tucked inside your check and take it to go as you hail a cab or walk over to the F train just steps away.

The baekban-style menu (home-cooked meals served on trays) offers a choice of four mains: sweet-savory bulgogi, spicy pork glazed with gochujang, chewy stir-fried squid, or a barley bibimbap packed with earthy, crunchy vegetables. Each set comes fully loaded with rice, soup, and a vibrant spread of at least seven house-made banchan. For example, you can indulge in cabbage kimchi, potato stew, popcorn chicken with gochujang glaze, mung bean jelly salad, roasted seaweed, omelet rolls, rice cake skewers, and more.
