On June 15, 2024, in Palm Coast, Florida, officers received a 911 call from a woman who said she was hiding in a closet before abruptly hanging up. Deputies made contact with 43-year-old Cherie Ford, who confirmed she was the caller, and observed signs of a disturbance inside the home—damaged property and broken glass throughout the kitchen and living room. Adam Ford, 47, was also present, appeared to have a fresh cut on his hand, and walked into the living room unclothed as tensions escalated while deputies tried to determine what had happened. This is body cam footage of the events that followed.
