So I found these unofficial animations of Leonardo and Raphael fighting foot soldiers, and they are freaking amazing. This is what happens when someone with high level technical skills who is genuinely passionate about a franchise has a vision and puts in the effort to make it happen.
The visual art style, lighting, atmosphere, and animation quality are superb, and a perfect blend of the 1990s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie and the vibe of the original comic books. This is my impression of the work done by John Likens.
