During my trip overseas to see medical specialists I had an opportunity to go visit the Bavarian Army Museum in Ingolstadt, Germany. As part of the "Forms of War 1600-1815" exhibition they have quite a number of two-handed "greatswords" (Zweihander) and various types of polearm (halberds, polehammers, morning stars, bardiches and other battle axes, war forks, etc).
Very interesting to take a look at these up close and get an impression of historical craftsmanship (and how much it differs from what you see on the current reproduction market).
