This armor is made of welded stainless steel rings that are remarkably small and thin. Much lighter than traditional historical maille, and more comfortable to wear. It's almost like metal fabric. Reminds of certain descriptions of mithril armor in fantasy worlds.

In this video I'm testing various blades on it, from a small folding knife all the way to a kriegsmesser, rapiers, a Dane axe, and even a disc mace. It seems most appropriate for protection in a modern self-defense scenario, but why not try medieval and renaissance weapons too, just to see what happens.
