This is a test and review of a budget priced "battle ready" reproduction of Obanai Iguro's Nichirin that Mini Katana sent me. It's quite eye catching due to the unusual wavy serpent-like blade with much larger undulations than you normally see in history. Doesn't come with magical anime powers, but will it cut?

As targets I tried soaked tatami mats and a soaked newspaper roll with polypropylene core that Lancelot Chan made to simulate an upper arm. For a closer look at the fit and overall quality I also disassembled it to give you a look at what's underneath the grip.
