Today’s episode takes me to Wilmington, North Carolina, where I’m taking on Shuckin’ Shack’s "Meggah Greggah" $300 Giant Lobster Roll Challenge!
Shuckin’ Shack Oyster Bar is a coastal restaurant known for its fresh seafood, laid back atmosphere, and beach-town vibes. Their menu features everything from oysters, shrimp, crab legs, and fish tacos to lobster rolls, po’ boys, burgers, and other classic seafood favs. Shuckin’ Shack has become a popular destination for both locals and visitors looking for fresh seafood and great hospitality along North Carolina’s coast.
The “Meggah Greggah” Challenge features a massive lobster roll loaded with 4 pounds of fresh lobster, mixed in a mayonnaise-based dressing with their secret seasonings and signature Greggah sauce, all stuffed into a giant French baguette. It’s the equivalent of roughly 16 to 18 regular lobster rolls! On the side, you’ll also have to finish 1.5 pounds of French fries and half a pound of homemade coleslaw. If you can finish everything within one hour, you’ll earn the $300 meal free, a T-shirt, and a spot on Shuckin’ Shack’s Wall of Fame.
