It is always a special treat whenever we get to play another Harry Potter 1 (PC) Custom Map since the existing editor of the game is just not great and pretty janky so most people usually build their maps inside Harry Potter 2 (PC). But this one had a special idea that I have so far only seen attempted by the Full Games Mod "Restored" for this game, it gives us a fully complete and modeled out open World Hogwarts!
Because sadly in the main game the castle only appears to be open world at parts but is in reality actually quite linear which is now being changed by this mod which gives us a fully connected castle from the Entry Hall all the way to the 7th Floo. And there is another special treat waiting for us inside the castle, one of the floors is a sort of recreation of the famous "E3 Build" that has only been seen in one very very old video from the event but apart from that is lost to time and can't be found anywhere anymore...
Overall a ton of really cool ideas in this map and I really respect the vision and all the work that was put into this! Unfortunately similar to "Restored" it is still quite janky and broken in a good couple of parts which made playing the map slightly annoying sometimes but I guess that is unavoidable working with the editor for this game. Very very fun to discover and alternative version of the Harry Potter 1 (PC) castle though with some areas you recognize and some completely new ones to discover, 7/10 rating overall for me!
