In 2021, a young boy named Bryson desperately wanted to save his sick puppy Bruce, who was on the verge of death due to a deadly illness called parvovirus.
Unfortunately, his parents couldn’t afford the expensive treatment, so Bryson sent himself out on a quest to earn the few thousand dollars needed to rescue Bruce. Although, after some thought, Bryson figured he had no choice but to sell his most prized possession, his Pokemon cards.
So Bryson opened up a roadside stand, hoping that enough people would come by. After a whole day, Bryson earned a few hundred dollars, but that wouldn’t be nearly enough to save Bruce’s life.
