Watch as I take the risks so you don't have to. This week, I remove the cast protecting my broken leg and ruined ankle. Probably prematurely.

Sick and tired of living a lopsided existence, I've forgone the doctor's advice and decided to extract my lag from its protective casing unsupervised.
Clarification: For those who are unaware of the full story, I'll explain; I was scheduled to have my cast removed on the same day I took it off alone. I would've had this done professionally, but my doctor is on vacation (as mentioned at the end of the video there). The next step comes at the end of the month, when I'll be returning to the hospital to have some sort of assessment done, as well as to shock the orderlies and endure some form of scolding from health professionals. We'll see how that goes. Either way, I'm glad to have it off.
Since I'm sure many people will be like "OH GOD WHY," I'll say now that it has been off for a few days and it gets better on a daily basis. I'm still limping and can't run or jump, but the pain of stretching still-recovering ligaments and nerves has decreased over time. I'm not so reckless as to deliberately endanger my ability to move efficiently. Okay maybe I am. BUT NOT LIKE THIS GUYS.
Enjoi.
