Here we have ’The Worlds of Dune: The Places and Cultures that Inspired Frank Herbert”, by Tom Huddleston and published by Frances Lincoln in 2023.
This book is bound in coated paper binding but the sand dunes on the cover has a grainy texture that feels very nice and grippy to touch. The book is bound in a sewn binding on photographic paper throughout, and it opens up perfectly. The paper is not coated so it’s less reflective compared to most art books, and the level of detail for the illustrations are very good. The colors are also clear and vivid. The book is printed and bound in China.
This is a perfect book for those who want to dive deeper into the world of Dune and for those who want to learn about Frank Herbert’s inspirations for the world building in his Dune series.
