Today we’re looking at Slam Dunk Volume 1 by Takehiko Inoue, published by Shueisha.
This is the Japanese edition, not the standard English translation. It is the new revised and recompiled edition of Slam Dunk, reorganising the original 31-volume series into 20 volumes, with new cover artwork by Inoue.
In this short overview, I take a look at the physical edition: the cover design, dust jacket, paper, binding, print quality, and overall collector appeal.
This copy is a later 36th printing from 2025, printed in Japan.
