Mario's Journal:
Day 15
I'll give Jr. Troopa this, he's very persistent. The little guy got lost in the forest trying to track me down. When he found us, he immediately tried to fight us. Parakarry and Bow were a little confused as to why he would try to fight us. We had to explain after beating him who he was and why he has a vendetta against me.
Jr. Troopa did have a new ability though. He managed to grow a pair of wings. That wasn't enough to stop us though since Parakarry can fly and Bow can float. Plus, I can still jump pretty high.
Anyway, Jr. Troopa ran out of the forest once we beat him. We made it out of the forest as well, but there wasn't any time to rest. Shy Guys had overrun Toad Town! We asked Merlon what was going on and he told us that they just started appearing recently. They were stealing all kinds of things. They stole Tayce T.'s frying pan, Russ T.'s dictionary, and the shop toad's storeroom key!
Everyone scattered across town to see if they could track down the source of the Shy Guys. I ran into Twink while I was searching the south part of town. Twink told me that he and Peach heard that I beat Tubba Blubba and were relieved that I was ok. Although, Bowser is very upset that I managed to beat him. I asked Twink if he heard anything about the next Star Spirit. He said that the next Star Spirit is in a place called "Shy Guy's Toy Box." I'm not familiar with that place, but it can't be too far considering the vast number of Shy Guys.
Twink assured me that Peach is doing everything in her power to get information to me and to protect me from where she is. Then the little guy flew away, back to Peach's side. I hope Peach doesn't do anything too reckless.
Anyway, I regrouped with the rest of the party. The only clues they found was that there were noises coming from an empty house in the south part of town. Bow decided to hide in that house to see if anything happened while we stayed a good distance away. Bow returned minutes later and said that a Shy Guy came into the house and vanished into a hidden door. She said that the door led to a room with a box and a spring.
We went to check it out. I opened the box and it was full of toys. I tried the spring and I shrunk down as I bounced into the toy box. There were a couple of Toads and a lot of Shy Guys here. Yep, I think we just found Shy Guy's Toy Box.
