Mario's Journal:
Day 19
Hermie turned out to be a giant crab. The girls were decorating his shell and the Bean Star piece was on top. I don't blame Hermie for getting mad at us since the girls were distracted, but he didn't have to fight dirty like that! At least he and the girls understood why we needed the Bean Star piece.
We traveled to Chucklehuck Woods where another piece landed. This area of the forest was populated by little talking snails called winkles. One did tell us that something shiny landed nearby, but we're not allowed in until the winkles acknowledge us.
We had to participate in the Winkle Colosseum. It actually wasn't too bad. We just had to fight off as many chuckorocks as we could before a winkle reached the finish line. That wasn't hard to do since winkles are snails. I figured it wouldn't be wise to point out their slowness. They might take offense to that.
Anyway, the winkles acknowledge us now and we were able to get to where the Bean Star piece landed. Unfortunately, Popple managed to sneak in. We got the Bean Star piece from him before he could get away though. He's not really tough when he doesn't have a partner.
We only have two more pieces to go.
