Instructions:
1/2 stick butter
1 cup brown sugar
6-8 apples peeled and sliced
1 pie crust, homemade or store bought is fine.
Melt butter and brown sugar in a heavy bottom pot.
Cook till it is caramelized. You can add more butter/sugar as needed.
Add apples, stir them into the mixture to coat real well.
Cook over medium heat for 8-10 minutes.
Cover with your store bought or homemade pie crust. Tuck in sides around apples.
Bake at 350°F till crust is golden brown.
Let cool and then turn out on your serving plate.
