After several disasters the curse of the ghost town of Two Guns became legendary, and the Apache Cave has kept this chilling place on the map.
Beginning of the 19th century, a small trading post was established known as Canyon Lodge. By late 1920s it became a favourite stop for those travelling on the National Trail Highway - later being part of Route 66.
In 1925, an eccentric man known as Harry E Miller (aka Chief Crazy Horse) took out a ten year lease and changed the name to Two Guns. Building a zoo, restaurant, Indian gift shop and two petrol stations, he even began giving tours of the infamous Apache Cave.
