Afikomen is a term used for the Passover's unleavened bread. There is a spiritual and prophetic meaning of the bread. It's use in the ritual is highly significant. During the meal, the bread, baked with piercing holes and stripes, is broken. Part of it is hidden and returned to the table toward the end of the meal. It has obvious references to the wounded hands, feet and side of Christ, as well as the stripes he suffered. It's return points to table at the end of the meal points to Christ's return to Earth with the previously raptured body of "born again" believers.
