Let's talk about Jordan B. Peterson's latest platforming endeavor: the Peterson Academy. He's got some big promises going for everything this $500 investment will get you. Is it worth the cost? Is it the revolutionary educational place he's claiming? Is it a hard beta, or mostly functional? I threw money at these questions, so let me take you on a little tour.
CORRECTION, regarding Vervaeke's employment history: after committed on this export, it finally clicked that there's overlap between a couple of the positions. It's not that UofT changed the title, it's that he was a couple things at once.

An alternate take on the 'boy crisis' comes from sociologists, as discussed in this Time piece: ideas.time.com/2013/03/21/the-boy-crisis-is-it-fictional
Basically, they identified a difference in attitudes towards school between boys and girls, with it being much more emphasized and prioritized for girls. High academically achieving boys had parents (specifically dads) who told them school is important. Without that, boys don't seem to be trying as hard at school.
