The album is about noticing when you can or when you must take the opportunities to change things, regardless of if you want to or not.
You have to constantly reinvent yourself to be able to keep up with the amount of days that scurry past. Time doesn't always allow. Life can be so chaotic you have no chance to actually process anything that happens. Death can be like thick black clouds firmly rooted at the forefront of your thoughts, by what it shows you, or how it follows you, that you spend your whole life preparing for the last moments, and wondering how you would do things differently, even though you had the chance already.
Six months can go by without you realising it, without you even knowing if you existed in that time, and you are left in the shadow of your former self, having not noticed all the lessons you could have learned, all the positive things you could take from them, all the negative things that can help you discover how to move forward, grieve if necessary, have more humility and more humanity.
I am approaching 50 years of age. Something I never thought I would say, but I am here to make the best of things for as long as possible now. Let's be nice to each other, but let's also get weird.
