I hope a few of you already know of the wonders of ELASTIC RIOT, but if not it gives me lots of pleasure and excitement to introduce them to you, dear Owl/ripper follower! They played a dazzling, fun, interesting, mindbending set in my hometown of Orlová in October 2023, and stayed at our house afterwards. I made this video for a favourite track (stick around until the robots find love!), comparable to Melvins, Genghis Tron, Ruins, plus Mike Patton's various projects especially Mr Bungle. So, what is it? ZEUHL-SLUDGE? Yeah, let's call it that for now! It is Elastic Riot and you need them in your life.
This uses a few sections of the crazy awesome and fun Italian film from 1979, Star Odyssey, which, for those into their trivia and thrash metal, read ahead... 'Star Odyssey (Italian: Sette uomini d'oro nello spazio / Seven Gold Men in Space) is a 1979 Italian film directed by Alfonso Brescia. The film is also known as Space Odyssey, Metallica and Captive Planet in other video markets.'

"In the year 2312, a group of aliens auction off insignificant planets and the winner of the auction for Sol 3 (Earth) is evil despot named Kress. He soon flies to "Sol 3" in what is the first contact with beings from another planet for those living there. Kress starts gathering humanoid slaves using his robot army to sell them to his evil counterparts."
The album 'Bordernoia' has already been released on their Bandcamp, and on vinyl through Zann's and Troppistruzzi, but I really wanted to tell some more friends and the internet generally about them, so, I will be releasing the album on Owlripper as well (19.2.24). Let's make more of the world aware of Elastic Riot.
