'Gather around. It is time for a story'... It is an honour to join forces with Martin Režny on this split album. A truly fantastic, unique and clever Czech soundmaker, and massively active part of the experimental scene. The basic theme of my half is about my introduction to Martin, Karel of Korobushka Records and a lot more of the Czech musicians / experimental / noise related nice people, which happened at Neočekávaný Dýchánek II festival in 2020. It is also about finding ways to enjoy anything in any way, no matter how weird it may feel or possibly seem to others. Just find fun, be good to others, focus on positive things, listen close and stay sane.

The Owl half was made during the first week of April 2021, with another week of work on it during the start of May 2022.
Two tracks (2, 3) are remixes of Säkkikangas. Some are from sounds made in years prior to this that have finally been given a home. Some parts were played specifically for this release.
Säkkikangas half is 4 tracks made for this and the closing track is a remix he made of the full Stockhausen Syndrome album of mine, originally released on The Owl Remixed album here: youtube.com/watch?v=h74Xh0bORLM
