Its often quoted Gardening is 10% inspiration and 90% Perspiration but in if you put some thought into the organisation of your gardening you can reduce your perspiration levels massively!

Bunny runs through tips that she uses to maintain her half acre intensive garden on just 2 ‘man days’ a week – Bunny being one of the ‘man days’.

Deciding how spruce you would like your garden to be is key: whether you sweep paths and rake gravel regularly or have a more relaxed approach to how your garden should look. Keep charts as aide memoirs for certain key things such as notable vegetable and annual sowing times and  when to spray box blight . Have your tools that you use most regularly kept in key positions such as a trowel above your potting bench. Make sure your water points, water barrels and hoses are positioned, but hidden, exactly where needed. Obliterate small awkward areas of grass and do you really need to divide those perennials?

Above all look after the gardener, make sure you stretch, keep fighting fit if possible and eat a tasty, healthy diet so you are always ready to lavish some tlc on your favourite outdoor space!
