This week’s new favourites include hardy chrysanthemums ‘Elspeth’ and ‘Hillside Apricot’, the rich and velvety Dahlia ‘Bacardi’, and the elegant Abutilon ‘Victorian Lady’.
You’ll also see the much-loved Salvia ‘Amistad’ making another appearance—often said to be tender in wet areas, though many now believe it’s hardy but vulnerable to slug damage as the fresh spring growth emerges. So if in doubt watch out for slugs as the leaves emerge and sort them out.
