The Nursemaids’ Tunnel is one of London's earliest surviving pedestrian #subways. 👀

It was built in 1821 after residents petitioned for a tunnel under the New Road (now Marylebone Road) to link Park Crescent from the south to the #gardens in Park Square.

Recently restored by the Crown Estate Paving Commission, you can appreciate its story once again. 👏
