Draper's Windmill in Margate, Kent, is now Grade II* listed. 🙌
The 19th-century smock mill survives remarkably well thanks to 60 years of care by the Draper’s Windmill Trust in partnership with owners Kent County Council (@kcc_kent).
It’s had its listed status upgraded on account of its rarity.
It is now in the same category as some of Thanet’s most significant historic buildings, including the 1930s Dreamland Cinema on Margate seafront and the Clock House at Ramsgate’s Royal Harbour.
