Did you know the New Forest has a deep connection to Romany Gypsy heritage?

During the summer, Romani Community Archaeology, led by co-directors @johnhenryphillips and Dr Stuart Eve, worked to uncover the Thorney Hill site with @heritagefunduk.

This significant area was once the home of a 'Gypsy Rehabilitation Centre', consisting of 22 prefab homes.
