In this video, we take a serious look at some of the most dangerous teachings being promoted in the church today through figures like Joshua Giles, Juanita Bynum, Dorinda Clark Cole, and Valerie Moore. These are not small disagreements over style, personality, or denomination. These are teachings and practices that can deeply affect how people view God, money, prophecy, authority, and spiritual discernment.
Too many believers are being trained to accept anything as “God” as long as it comes with emotion, music, titles, and dramatic language. But the Bible commands us to test all things, test the spirits, judge prophecy, and compare every teaching to the Word of God.
In this breakdown, we examine how dangerous teachings often show up in the church: prophetic manipulation, seed-faith pressure, money promises, vague “thus saith the Lord” declarations, fear-based words, emotional hype, and spiritual authority being used to silence questions. When people are told that their breakthrough, healing, protection, promotion, or next season depends on giving a certain seed, accepting a prophet’s word without testing it, or submitting to questionable spiritual authority, that is not biblical Christianity. That is manipulation dressed up as ministry.
Joshua Giles, Juanita Bynum, Dorinda Clark Cole, and Valerie Moore represent a larger issue in the modern church: people are being conditioned to chase prophecy, impartation, titles, money miracles, and emotional experiences more than sound doctrine, repentance, holiness, and Christ-centered preaching. The problem is not that people believe God can bless, heal, provide, or speak. The problem is when leaders use those truths to build systems that pressure people, exploit people, or make themselves untouchable.
The church needs discernment. The church needs Scripture. The church needs leaders who are accountable. And the church needs believers who are not afraid to ask: Where is that in the Bible?
This video is not about attacking people personally. It is about warning the body of Christ. If a teaching makes you dependent on a prophet instead of Christ, if it makes money the key to your miracle, if it makes questioning leadership equal rebellion, or if it makes vague emotional declarations more important than biblical truth, then it needs to be tested.
The Bible never tells us to blindly receive every word, every prophet, every preacher, or every “move of God.” It tells us to test them.

1 John 4:1 — Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God.
1 Thessalonians 5:21 — Test everything; hold fast what is good.
2 Timothy 4:3–4 — The time will come when people will not endure sound teaching.
Matthew 7:15 — Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves.
2 Peter 2:1–3 — False teachers will exploit people with false words.
